JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a junior designer to join our growing residential design firm. Our ideal team member will have knowledge of furnishings, space planning, and interior finishes, and share our love for thoughtful, layered design inspired by our coastal roots. Most importantly, we are seeking a positive, energetic, and detail-oriented contributor who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position will offer an immediate opportunity to contribute on all facets and phases of our design process, so bringing a strong design to learn, grow and develop as a designer is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with the Principal Designer and Lead Designer to develop cohesive residential design plans from start to finish. This will include active work in all phases, from concept design through install.

Compose moodboards and floorplans, develop selections, and create interior elevations.

Support design development by creating and maintaining schedules and spec sheets, design files (elevations, floorpans, etc.), project binders, project samples, and material bins.

Communicate with trade partners to clarify technical questions as they arise.

Participate in team meetings and client presentations as needed, including presentation boards, materials and finishes, color palettes, and lighting, and furnishings.

Running sample pick-ups from vendors, visits to project sites (measures, builder walk-throughs, etc.), and other tasks outside of the office setting.

Manage tasks on multiple projects at once.

Desire to grow and develop professionally while building the Weeth Home brand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
0-2 years of working experience in Interior Design (internships included).

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school.

Ability to draft plans and renderings in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other software-based tools.

Detailed knowledge of finishes, materials, and standard specifications and terminology for design-related items.

Practical knowledge of design styles and eras.
-
Knowledge of Chief Architect is a plus.

Experience working on residential construction is a plus.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Extremely organized and detail-oriented with schedules, emails, communication, drawings and presentations.

Reliable car and willing to travel.

Ability to physically work on tasks including shopping, hauling samples, installation days and weeks which includes moving items, making beds, cleaning and packing.

Familiar with design vendors, including furniture, fabric, lighting, tile/plumbing, rugs, etc.
JOB TYPE: Full Time
LOCATION: Based out of our Studio in downtown Rehoboth Beach, DE. A hybrid arrangement could be considered for the right candidate.
SALARY RANGE: $48,000 - $55,000

CAD DESIGNER, DRAFTER & RENDERER
JOB TYPE: Contract
LOCATION: Remote
SALARY RANGE: $20 - 30 per hour
OVERVIEW:
The CAD Designer, Drafter and Renderer will support the design team in translating concepts and sketches into technical documents, floorplans, and renderings. Experience working in interior design or architecture is a must, as you will be trusted to bring your creativity, attention to detail, and technical expertise to help make our collective design vision come to life. This is a contract, remote role that offers flexibility of schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with the interior design team to create CAD plans and room renderings.

Support the documentation phase of our new construction and renovation projects by creating and updating key documents for builders, contractors and trades.

Communicate with trade partners to clarify technical questions as they arise.

Participate in team meetings and client presentations as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:

2+ years of drafting and rendering experience
-
Proficient in AutoCAD, Chief Architect, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with other platforms is a plus!

Knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and other specifications.

Strong organization and attention to detail — accuracy is vital for this role.

Ability to work as a team to align on a unified design direction, and work independently to follow through on the execution of ideas.

Open to a remote/hybrid arrangement, but may be required to work from the Rehoboth Studio from time to time.
